Cincinnati Attack and JVA: Developing Boys Volleyball in Southwest Ohio
Cincinnati Attack has been developing boys volleyball athletes in Southwest Ohio for decades.
Founded in 1998, Cincinnati Attack is focused on proven player development, high-level coaching and creating a strong team culture. The club has helped develop athletes who have continued competing at the collegiate and professional levels, including U.S. Olympian Max Holt.
Cincinnati Attack is proud to be connected with Junior Volleyball Association (JVA), an organization dedicated to strengthening junior volleyball clubs and expanding opportunities for athletes, Coaches and families nationwide.
Supporting Boys Volleyball Growth
Boys volleyball continues to expand throughout the United States, and strong club programs are essential to creating meaningful pathways for young athletes.
Through JVA Membership, Club Directors and Coaches can access educational resources, industry information, professional development, partner benefits and tools designed specifically for junior volleyball organizations.
These resources help clubs strengthen operations, support their Coaches and create sustainable programs that can continue serving athletes as participation in boys volleyball grows.
National Competition for Boys Volleyball
High-quality competition gives athletes opportunities to test their skills, adjust to different styles of play and continue developing against strong opponents.
JVA Tournaments provide boys, girls and beach volleyball teams with access to events across the United States, including national tournaments, power leagues, Challenge Series events and member-hosted competitions.
Cincinnati Attack teams compete in a schedule that includes events throughout the Midwest and beyond, giving athletes opportunities to gain experience against teams from multiple regions.
Education for Coaches and Club Leaders
The JVA Education Library provides volleyball-specific resources covering coaching, player development, recruiting, mental performance, leadership, business operations and club culture.
Club Directors and Coaches can use these resources to continue developing their programs while improving the support they provide to athletes.
JVA also recognizes athletes, clubs and volleyball leaders through the JVA Awards Program.
Recognition opportunities include JVA Watch Lists, All-National Teams, the AthLeader Award, Club of the Month and additional honors celebrating achievement throughout junior volleyball.
Cincinnati Attack was recognized as a JVA Club of the Month in April 2025, highlighting the club’s continued impact within boys volleyball.
Programs That Support Volleyball Leaders
JVA offers several programs designed to strengthen clubs and support the people working to grow the sport.
The JVA Sponsor Program gives participating clubs an opportunity to help expand awareness of JVA and connect more athletes, families and volleyball professionals with national resources.
The JVA Grant Program provides eligible member organizations with opportunities to receive financial support for projects and initiatives that can improve or expand junior volleyball programming.
Through the JVA Mentor Program, volleyball professionals can connect with experienced Club Directors and industry leaders who can provide guidance, insight and practical knowledge.
